MB: Calculations that Won't Quell the Conspiracies

Author: Colin Craig 2012/09/06

There are lots of conspiracy theories out there about city hall and its real estate transactions.

I’ve already said my bit about how even the perception of such unfair processes might actually be hurting the city’s ability to attract bidders for different projects and thus keep costs down for taxpayers.

However, until someone has a smoking gun to show that some law has been broken those theories remain just that – theories.

That being said…this information I received from the city of Winnipeg last year won’t exactly put the conspiracy crowd to sleep. Given all the recent discussions about real estate transactions I dug up the document to take another look at the numbers…and thought others might care to see them too.
